TOPICS
We will be organizing the 25th European Intensive Course in a hybrid form at the University of Aveiro from March 27 through March 31, 2023. The course will have a total of 12 hours of lecture time, at a postgraduate level, and centered around the following topics:
Partial Differential Equations, Harmonic Analysis, Integral Geometry, and Representation Theory
During the course there will be extended coffee breaks in a relaxed environment where lecturers and participants are encouraged to share ideas in a more informal way. Successfully participating students will get a certificate.
LECTURERS
Michael Reissig, Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg, Germany - Damped wave models with integrable and decaying in time speed of propagation and applications in cosmology
Victor Malkin-Palamodov, Tel Aviv University, Israel - Time reversal in photoacoustic tomography and Newton-levitation in cavity
Lectures will take place in the Room Sala Sousa Pinto, 2nd floor (room equipped with beamer, projector, computer, and white board)
